What Kinds of Questions Should You Ask a Potential Reiki Teacher?

Here is a list of 15 questions to get you started in your Reiki Master research:
    1. Do you teach the original Usui System of Natural Healing?
    2. With whom and for how long did you study to become a Reiki Master and What is your lineage?
    3. How many levels of learning are there in your teaching?
    4. How often do you teach?
    5. Do you enjoy teaching?
    6. What is your special area of interest?
    7. Where do you live? Are you near me?
    8. What kind of support do you offer for my questions and concerns after the class?
    9. How much do you charge and what is included in that price?
    10. Do you provide any printed materials?
    11. Will I receive a certificate that includes my lineage?
    12. How long is the class, and how much time is spent with the; 1) initiations, 2) lecture/teaching, 3) giving/receiving treatments, 4) the creating of a practice?
    13. Do you include any information or teaching that is not original reiki, but is a part of working energetically with clients? If so, what specifically is it and what is your qualification to teach it?
    14. Are you available to meet beforehand, and perhaps work on me, to give me a sense of whether or not we would work well together?
    15. May I have the names of a couple of your students to call for references about your teaching style and classes?
