Becoming a Reiki Practitioner

When thinking about becoming a reiki practitioner, it's helpful to see it like becoming an ambassador; often needing to explain reiki natural healing to friends and clients. Taking the time to learn a little about learning reiki will pay off. You will be able to choose a teacher well and articulate reiki concepts to your friends and family. I'd like to help help you if you're thinking about learning reiki.

It is important to find a competent reiki teacher for your initiations and training. How do you find the right teacher? By becoming educated about reiki and how to choose a teacher.

There are three levels of reiki learning in the Usui System of Natural Healing. Each has its own level of initiation, commitment and personal healing involved for the practitioner. First-Degree and Second-Degree Reiki are usually weekend workshops. In the Usui System of Natural Healing, the Reiki Master training requires an apprenticeship.

I love to teach the First and Second Degree classes as they form and will soon offer a home-study course for these levels.

The best thing is, once you are attuned to the energy it is with you for life!

To really know something like natural healing takes time. It is my goal to help develop independent, confident, capable, and compassionate reiki practitioners. I think of myself as 'related to all of my students. This means our relationship is continuous and I remain available for questions and support after your training. Each student gets the training, guidance, and encouragement they need to become satisfied with and confident about their reiki skills.
